Deep, dark and delightful. Bombay Chai is a mélange of exotic spices, conjuring up the aromatic delights of an Indian street market. Chai tea (tea blended with spice) originated centuries ago in India and Tibet and is so popular in this part of the world that in Hindi, the word “chai” actually means “tea.” Wonderful with a splash of milk & honey. To make a café-style Spiced Chai Latte: Mix 2 tablespoons chai, 1 cup water, and 1 cup milk in a saucepan. Bring to a light boil and immediately reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
